 புத்தாண்டு வாழ்த்து கூறுகிறார்கள்.

பிறந்தநாள்
 வாழ்த்துக்கள்
வருகின்றன.
வெகுமதிகள். அனைத்தும் மன நிறைவு தான்.--ஆனால்
அகவை கூடுகிறது. வாழ்நாள் குறைகிறது-
இதுதான் உண்மை.
இதை நினைத்தால்,
அதிகமாக சாதித்தது என்ன/?:
சாதிக்கவேண்டியதை   சக்தி உள்ள போதே ,
சாதிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற
துடிப்பு வர வேண்டும்.
அகவை கூடும் புத்தாண்டு.
அகவை கூடியதால்
 வரும் எண்ணமோ?
அகவையில் சக்தி உள்ளபோதே
அகத்தின் ஆசைகளை நிறைவேற்றிக்கொள்ள,
அனுபவஸ்தர்கள் கூறும் ஆலோசனைகள்.
ஏனென்றால் இன்றைய தலை முறையினர்.
உபதேசங்களை விரும்புவதில்லை.

ஆங்கில ஆண்டாக அமைய,

ஆசைகள்  நிறைவேறும் ஆண்டாக,

ஆடை -ஆபரணங்கள்,

ஆண்டவன் அருள் 

ஆளுமை,

ஆழ்மன நிறைவு,

ஆற்றல்,

ஆனந்தம்

அளவில்லாமல்

பெற்று,

பல்லாண்டு வாழ .

three quarters= முக்கால்=मुक्काल=पौना  =pounaa

one and a quarter=  ஒன் னே    கால் onne kaal= सवा=sava

one and a half= ஒன் னரைonenarai=  डेढ़=dedh

one and a three quarters =  ஒன்னே முக்கால்=onene mukkaal== पौने दो=poune do

two and a half= இரண்டரை =irandarai= ढाई=dhaaee

in हिंदी  we add three quarters with next number .i.e.,to say one and three quarters we say three quarters two.that means one and three quarters less quarter from two.
पौने  दो =poune do=13/4=one and three  quarters=ஒன் னே முக்கால் one ne mukkaal.
पौने  तीन = poune teen=two and  three quarters=இரண்டே  முக்கால் .irande mukkaal
पौने  चार poune chaar =three and three quarters=மூனே  முக்கால்  moone mukkaal
पौने  पाँच poune paanch=fourand three quarters=நாலே முக்கால் naale mukkaal

to say quarter with a number in hindi add sava before that number.
सवा दोsava do =two and a quarter=இரண்டே  கால் irande kaal
to say half with a number add saadhe before the number in hindi.
